$1,000 a day should be your floor


I know you're working hard behind the chair and in your treatment rooms. You already earn well, but what if I told you you really should be having $1000 days, with your years of experience and expertise?

With me having been in the industry for decades, where a lot of that time was behind the chair, there are some things that I noticed that separate people who are working really hard but not hitting their goals from those who move differently.

From those whose business is structured for them to earn $1000 per day without overworking.

And this is exactly what I coach to.

The hard truth is: being busy does not equal being profitable.

I talk to many Industry professionals who are exhausted but not hitting that $1,000+ daily mark. And then there are women who come to me for support, where that is their normal.

And when I talk about $1000 days, I'm not talking about over exhaustion in working with 10 people or working over 10 heads.

The difference between settling and thriving in the beauty/service industry isn't just about talent.

This is where so many in the beauty industry get it wrong.

Much of their time is spent honing in on their craft. Another certification. Trying to go viral.

One of the biggest missing pieces isn't just talent, it's strategy.

If you want to hit $1,000+ per day consistently, you need to stop doing the things you’ve always done and start doing these 5 things:

  1. You're not charging your value
    If you can perform a high-impact service in short time frames that transforms a client, you should be charging premium prices. Your expertise and results command higher rates, not how long you take. That mindset says you have to spend four to five+ hours on someone in order to charge a premium, and that's not true. Most premium clients are actually looking for something else when it comes to time anyway.
  2. Stop Ignoring Opportunities to be the expert
  3. Stop Relying on Word-of-Mouth (It's Too Slow).
    To make $1,000+ a day, you need more high-paying clients. You need to leverage social media, and/or other marketing avenues, to reach those clients, to show your expertise before they even walk in. This isn't just about posting before and afters or throwing up a picture. This is how your position is online. Your positioning locally.

Numerous service-based business owners are unaware that they are not positioned for premium clients despite their pricing, number of years, and skill level.

4. Being a Generalist
"I do everything" is not a marketing strategy. If you try to be everything, you’ll be known for nothing. Becoming the go-to expert can justify premium prices. I've been teaching this for over 8 years now. I have a system that I walk clients through that positions them as a specialist, and not just a specialist. The specialist that premium clients want to go to.

People attempt to niche down but still attract clients who aren't willing to pay a premium. So much of this is about how you are showing up as a brand.

5. You must be open to growth. And when I say growth, I'm not talking about learning new trends or getting another certification; I'm talking about fully becoming the expert in your lane.
